The quality of your woven photo throw is directly related to the quality of the photo you submit. The best quality photos turn into the best-looking throws. Your photo tapestry will be woven using specially dyed yarns resulting in more than 600 color combinations. Every effort will be made to match color; however, since a photographic image contains nearly unlimited color possibilities, subtle color variations may occur.

Some Helpful Hints:

Send photos: That are evenly lit--not too dark or too light That have ood contrast That have simple backgrounds and subject matter That have sharp, crisp, in-focus images That are cropped exactly how you want the throw to look. That are copies of your original photo--remember, photos and photo CDs cannot be returned. Don’t send photos that are: Soiled, damaged, bent, or torn as imperfections will show in the finished product Unevenly lit, where parts of the photo are very dark or very light Blurry, out-of-focus, or panoramic photos Busy or cluttered in background or subject matter Needing to be cropped or altered in any way--make those adjustments before submitting Originals, one-of-a kind heirlooms, or otherwise irreplaceable--send a scan or copy. Remember, photos and photo CDs cannot be returned. What you get from this company is a box with instructions how to order the blanket. Amazon does ship the box of instructions free, but then the company wanted an additional $39.00 to ship the blanket.

They should specify that you are buying a KIT from Amazon that you receive which allows you to then order the blanket from the company. I was hoping to have this for Christmas and it's going to take another 4 to 6 weeks to get it back. I guess I'll be giving my parents and IOU for Christmas. I'm really upset that it appeared as if I was ordering the blanket this one time and there would be an option to submit my picture.

I've purchased 3 of these and have been pleased with the quality of the throw and the print. I've done both black and white and color pictures and no complaints at all.

I read about some of the delays in processing but they must have they worked out now. I've received my orders in less than 2 weeks.

I highly recommend this product. Got the first one as a gift for my parents. Anything I get them never seems to excite them. I put a family photo on the throw and they absolutely loved it. It has become a conversation item as well by anyone who sees it.
