If you are like me -- an intelligent (I hope) experienced computer person who has never used Photoshop but wants to learn how to do useful work (not just play around) -- this book is for you. For example, you can actually look in the index and find what you are looking for.

I liked "Photoshop CS3 for Dummies" as a good overview text - then I use this "Photoshop CS3 All-in-one Reference for Dummies" as a detailed text on most of the heavy features of Photoshop. I was pretty good with Photoshop CS and all the versions of the program before - but I am learning a GREAT deal from this tome on the more sophisticated features.

This is a great resource at a fraction of the price of the book from adobe. Highly recommended!

I bought this book to learn Photoshop for my Photography business. Photoshop is a complicated program if your just getting in to it. I love it and was one of the best purchases I made for my business!! If you want to learn and under stand what you are doing this is the book for you!!

I got this book for my Wife, a copywritten photographer when she went from SLRs to Digital and said that Photo-Shop is great for anyone who wants to embelish their photos but would detract from the Natural photographer's creatrive eye.

I ordered this book and it arrived very promptly. It was nicely packaged and in good condition. I am currently reading this book and find it to be a nice help to understand Photoshop's workings. I appreciate the order.

I am not a fan of dummy books because you have to read so many opinions of the author and I just want to read what is necessary to learn. This book does cover a lot of material, but I haven't found it that helpful.
