I purchased this book to help in learning how to use photoshop elements 8(first time user) for a photography class I am currently taking. It has been very helpful in guiding me through specific tasks that I need to do without having to read from front to back. I am anxious to get the chance to go through the whole book once I am not pressed with class assignments. I would definately recommend this for a first time user.
