Before I bought this book, I had read about Willem Lammers and his "Logosynthesis" work and it really appealed to me. It included saying certain phrases in order to relieve stress, and I was curious as to how to concoct the phrases. However, I'd never bought a book online before, and I guess I had strong inner resistance to doing so. I wrote directly to the author:

Mr Lammers
I would be interested to read your books but I am experiencing a block to buying them. There is no library nearby. Perhaps you have some phrases for this?
In the meantime, I have had some amazing relief from reading your first chapter and your article on AAMET, and practising your sentences. [...]

He wrote back (and I did ask his permission to post this!)

Thank you for your comments.

For the book:
Assess the strength of the block to buy the book, on a scale 0-10. 0: no block, 10: extreme block.
Say the following sentences aloud, without changing anything:
I retrieve all my energy bound up in representation of the power that keeps me from buying Willem Lammers' book.
I remove all non-me energy related to this authority, from all of my cells, from all of my body and from my personal space.
After saying each sentence, count back aloud from 39 to 17.
You can can repeat this a number of times, and allow your Self to go through the process in small steps.
After each round, assess the strength of the block.

I did what he suggested, saying the sentences aloud once each. Then I somehow managed to order the book on Amazon. However, I needed to change my order a record THREE times. I said the sentences again and again. Each time I said the sentences, my eyes went all over the place and I experienced all sorts of cognitive and physiological shifts. As a result, my will was more focused and I took the next step, and the next, until I got the book!
I guess we often have resistance to things that are important to us, and also, there are often a few stages involved in achieving goals. I know, he wrote that in his email but I missed it. I wanted to share my experience here on Amazon for the benefit of people who want to buy it (might as well improve your experience!).
This was a year and a half ago. I have since read the book many times over and used the process for all sorts of problems - relationships, emotional, can't find a solution - and of course, when I can't seem to reach a goal.
I highly recommend this book, because Logosynthesis is an easy process that helps people create lasting change. The only problem I have with it is that I can use it effectively for up to about 20 minutes a day. After that, the effectiveness (of new phrases) seems to die off, until the next day.
