I'm a veterinarian. I have always encouraged the use of glucosamine and fatty acid supplements not only for joint health, but for general well-being. I was sceptical regarding Phycox and it anti-inflammatory activity but with my own aged dogs and patients I have to say they really do get relief from this product. Many of my patients no longer use or use markedly less NSAIDs to control their dog's pain.

My dog is getting older and having a harder time getting up and down, and not as active. She is a bit overweight so I wanted to try to find something to help her get a little more active and just feel better. I called my vet and they recommend these so I went online to find a good deal on them and after giving my dog these for the last two months she gets up and down MUCH better and is more active and puppy like. I'm glad we tried these. A much better alternative to the stronger prescription medications to start with! And she loves the taste! They are 'treats' to her! Make sure if you have a little dog you order the smaller size chews. My dog is big, but they would probably be too big for little dogs to try to chew and they crumble if you were to try to break them! Overall a great product so far!

This stuff made such a difference in my 13 year old Pit Bull (75 lbs with hip displaysia) that I am tempted to start taking them myself. He is now running around like a puppy and can run up the stairs again.

I never received my order and had to cancel after waiting for three weeks. My order wasn't in stock and I was never notified. Very disappointed with Amazon.com
