This book is fantastic! I cannot give it enough praise. You can see the author really cares about what she is writing and imparting her vest wealth of knowledge to the reader. This is not your typical textbook. The subject matter is particularly interesting and combined with Ms. Jarvis' easy to follow style of writing, hours pass before you realize how much material you have covered and absorbed. I highly recommend this book to nurses, students and faculty alike as an invaluable took for sharpening your assessment skills and taking your patient care to the next level.

This is definately a MUST have book..cant continue with the nursing program if you dont have this book..you will not be proficient if you dont read the chapters and understand them. they are not complicated at all, the book explains everything very well and very clear..I highly reccomend this book 100% Im on my 5th semester for RN,BSN and still refer to this book that I got on my second semester..this is a MUST HAVE MUST KEEP :0)

I liked this book; I thought it was user friendly but the CD was not as much help. While taking this class, I actually used this book to help pass the CCRN exam. Good book, worth the money.

I really disliked this book. I found it to be really confusing compared to other books I have used in nursing school. The Anatomy reviews in the beginning of each chapter are helpful, and I love all of the pictures of the abnormal medical conditions, they are very helpful as well. I don't like how the writer will talk about the signs and symptoms of a condition, or just talk about a condition in general and you will go through the whole chapter thinking to yourself "well what exactly is that condition?" and it's not until you get to the very end of the chapter that it explains what the condition and signs and symptoms are...it's really frustrating at times. It's so boring to read and the writer uses way too many filler words which just makes things more complicated and confusing.

loved this book...Was easy to follow throught he chapters...accompany CD very easy to use and helpful.

This is just what I needed. I received the international version instead of the domestic version, but that just makes better! All the text and pics are the same but the cover is blue instead of pink.

Amazing book. VERY, VERY helpful images, applications, and procedures that are very well drawn out. It is very helpful for the lab portion of physical assessment class. Gives you an opportunity to practice the labs on your own before class to fully understand everything before being graded on it during lab. I absolutely love this book and recommend it to any nursing student! The packing was very neat, and the delivery was fast!

THE BOOK WAS NEW BUT THERE WAS NOT AN EVOLVE ACCESS CODE!!! THE CODES ARE $65. SO I GUESS ITS BEST TO BUY FROM YOUR SCHOOL!!!!

Textbook came in perfect shape and very quickly too, would definitely buy from this supplier again!
