Good reference text in addition to being a classroom Physics book. Something you'll keep even after you return all your other books for the money at the end of the semester.

I used this textbook as part of a College Algebra Based 2-Semester (4hr/4hr) sequence. I had never taken Physics in high school due to taking a different science for my final one in high school, so I went in there with not much to work with. Having said that though, this book is amazing, it has clear cut examples, formulas and descriptions and 100+ problems in every chapter to get plenty of practice. The online homework supplement however is horrid, but the book itself is great.

Arrived very quickly. It was a good textbook, very informative and straight forward. Does not use very complex math to explain the concepts presented. Provided a good reintroduction to Physics for me after not having taken it since high school physics.

I am currently taking Physics I and this is the textbook that is required. I absolutely hate this textbook. The explanations are never clear and uses so much jargon. I hope that I can pass Physics this semester with this awful excuse of a textbook.
