About the Author

NICK HERBERT is a Stanford-trained physicist, author of several popular science books including "Quantum Reality", "Faster Than Light" and "Elemental Mind". He was one of the directors of Esalen Institute's Physics of Consciousness seminars and the Fringe Science editor for Berkeley cyberfashion magazine Mondo 2000. Nick was featured recently in David Brown's "Mavericks of the Mind" along with Tim Leary, Allen Ginsberg and other edge thinkers.
