5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent clear and simple introduction to physics, March 23, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Physics for Career Education (7th Edition) (Hardcover)
This book does what its title says; it's an introduction to physics for people who probably won't major in physics, or a science for that matter. Clearly written and well illustrated. Covers the basic areas of physics in an introductory way, plus supporting areas such as trigonometry. Would be good to use as an easily accessible reference. I just gave my copy to my daughter who will be taking college math and physics and chemistry courses. I ordered another to replace the one here at home with me. If your child is having trouble with high school physics, or is off to college and wary of math and physics courses, this would be a great inexpensive companion.

1.0 out of 5 stars The Book That Never Made The Grade., November 9, 2009
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Physics for Career Education (7th Edition) (Hardcover)
I purchased this book for my 2009 fall semester physics class. I never received the book. I've sent several inquiries to Amazon and Alibris and have yet to receive the book or a refund on my credit card. This can't be good!
