Would love to actually own one, August 15, 2011
This review is from: The Physics Coloring Book (HarperCollins Coloring Books (Not Childrens)) (Paperback)
Amazon has been promising this book for at least 5 years now... and no luck... it does not seem to be available. Do not pre-order it, as you will be told 3 month waiting... and it is always 3 months away.

Promises Not Kept, May 27, 2011
This review is from: The Physics Coloring Book (HarperCollins Coloring Books (Not Childrens)) (Paperback)
I teach physics and was delighted when I saw this title come forward three or four years ago. I pre-ordered two copies and after a year and a half of waiting, calling the supposed publisher, etc. I gave up. I check back every year or so. Don't get your hopes up anytime soon and whatever you do DON'T PREORDER IT.

Tactile - Visual Learning, March 14, 2007
This review is from: The Physics Coloring Book (HarperCollins Coloring Books (Not Childrens)) (Paperback)
Another piece of the coloring book puzzle that goes with the Anatomy, Biology, Botany, Geography, Human Brain, Human Evolution, Microbiology, Snowflakes, Zoology books. There should be/was/is also an Earth Science coloring book.
These are excellent books for hands-on, minds-on learning to form mental maps and internalize the knowledge. I use them all the time for teaching Earth Science, Biology, AP Biology, AP Environmental Science, Meteorology and Geomorphology at the high school and university levels. Students immediately grasp concepts and relationships. Wonderful! When people needed to know about the dissolution of Yugoslovia I went to the Geography book. It is the same for every topic, including physics.
Social science teachers often need a clear one-page illustration of a map or concept to help illustrate language, political and economic relationships. These are excellent tools!

I can't review what I don't have., January 27, 2007
This review is from: The Physics Coloring Book (HarperCollins Coloring Books (Not Childrens)) (Paperback)
This book is arriving 3 months later than first promised (maybe longer?). I anticipate that it will be very useful; I hope that I am correct.
The numerical rating category needs to have a N/A choice. I can't rate what I can't see.
