This is a wonderful physics text. It covers all the main areas of undergrad physics in a detailed, rigorous, but very accessible manner (as evidenced by its length!) Well illustrated and clearly explained, this was truly a pleasure to learn physics from. I still have my two volume set from 27 years ago and I will never part with it...
