The authors 2001 edition was probably the best of the edition I have have used and the most challenging. This 2004 is slightly watered down in my opinion. I also liked the 1999 edition however that edition is nearly impossible to find in good conditions in any quantity.
Still, it is one of the best to teach from as there are many problems and examples that are both easy to follow and engaging.

I used this book to study for the AP Physics B exam on my own, and thanks to it, I was able to score a 5. Good book for people who don't have previous Physics experience.

Not what was promised,

The Physics book I purchased was rated as "acceptable". Once it arrived (after a hassle with postage that was resolved) the book was anything but acceptable. The spine was broken with sections of the book falling out. Not acceptable at all in my book. Buyer beware!
