4.0 out of 5 stars Part 2 does not mean Volume II, December 16, 2009

This is an excellent textbook, but buyer beware that "Physics for Scientists and Engineers" has both a Part 2 book and a Volume II. If you are looking for the one on Electricity and Magnetism, go to Physics for Scientists and Engineers with Modern Physics: Volume II (3rd Edition) (Physics for Scientists & Engineers) and leave this one behind.

This is not volume two, it is part two of the first half of the book.
This book is ch 13 to 20.

1.0 out of 5 stars Unclear description, October 9, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Physics for Scientists and Engineers: Part 2 (3rd Edition) (pt. 2) (Paperback)
Because Amazon's description of this book was unclear we purchased it, thinking it was Volume 2 of the Giancoli Physics book. Instead it was part 2 of Volume 1. So, in our case it was a total waste of money.

Buyer, beware!
