This solutions manual tends to follow the steps taught in the accompanying book, but the author skips alot of steps. If it was not for [...], I would never be able to figure out many of the solutions.
Overall, I find this solution manual frustrating to use.

This manual is great for the problems that they actually chose to put in there. I enjoy this helpful tool, but it appears that they just randomly skip over some of the odd-numbered questions. If this weren't the case, I would enjoy it immensely. I have never heard of a solutions manual skipping problems, but this one does...I heard the manual for the second half of the book is even worse.

For what we received, it was a total waste of money. All of the problems in the textbook should be solved, if for no other reason than to let the student study them. Physics can be daunting. If a student wants to abuse the solutions manual, that is their business. It is not up to the author of the book or anyone else to police how the book is used. If a student wants to study how the problem is solved for understanding, then they should be afforded that right. I will have you know, that I have used other student solutions manuals in the past and was able to solve other homework problems that were not properly covered in the chapter by trying out potential possibilities . It turned out that I was able to figure out the answer to the problem on my own, based on what was covered in the solutions manual NOT what was covered in the chapter or in class.

This book is terrible....student solutions manual only has every fourth problem...maybe....definitely doesn't help if they aren't the ones you are assigned. Even using available solutions as examples didn't work.

If you feel like getting royally ripped off, buy this book. When one thinks of buying a typical student solutions manual, one expects to get answers for all of the odd problems. Not in this ramshackle excuse for a solutions manual. Whoever wrote it decided they would skip huge numbers of problems at a time, as many as 20, and yes, those ARE ODD PROBLEMS!!! Best of all, they decided they could make more money by dividing their book into two editions in order to better suck money out of the poor college student needing help. My advice, if you have a tutor available at your school, USE IT. They will save you time and money. Buy the book if you want, it is your money after all.

I got this book so that it will relieve my stress over Physics and help me understand how to solve the questions that I have a hard time solving, but that is not the case. This book actually makes more stressed out as almost every problem I actually have a hard time with, they do not include in the book (and yes, I'm talking about odd-numbered questions)! They include basic odd-numbered questions and leave out some pretty complex ones. The author did not want to work hard enough and decided to sell this rip-off to students. Shame on you, Knight! However, this book does deserve its two stars for including some questions and adequate solutions.

Very poor solutions manual and a waste of money. There are better options out there.

It only has the solutions for a fraction of the problems in the book.
