Physics Student Study Guide And Selected Solutions Manual

When they say "selected solutions" they mean it. I'm not talking about only having the odd problems or just the even problems. I'm talking about having sometimes only a handful of problems for a huge chapter - none of which help you to figure out how to do your assigned problems. You'll spend time opening it and searching for a problem you're doing and most likely NEVER finding what you need. This book is not worth the paper it's printed on. Do yourself a favor and don't buy it - it won't help you. And if you have it, don't sell it and pass the pain to others, just burn it for heat or something - maybe then it will have some use.

The book came quickly and in good condition but it was not helpful to me with finding solution to my problems. After I purchased the book my professor anounced to the class "do not buy the student solution manuals for your textbooks", it was too late for me at that point. He says, these solution manual are written by graduate students not the authors of the textbook, therefore the problem may not be worked the way the author intended. As far as I know this does not pertain to other subjects like math, those solution manuals have always work well for me.
