This is the second time I've ordered this product and it is pretty good. If you have badly tangled hair, this product is GREAT! I am African American and I have super thick and thirsty hair. My hair is not "nappy", but I do use the PhytoSpecific Index 2 Relaxer which I love and will never go back to regular relaxers! On my hair type, I would say that this product will leave it feeling weird as if there's a film on it and it makes it feel sort of spongy---but it still detangles out of this world!! It's a give take situation. I just heavily moisterize after I detangle and it helps. My daughter on the other hand has a fine texture (not thin) but fine. Her hair is naturally straight at the roots, but very curly on the ends. This product works wonders for her and it doesn't leave it feeling spongy. PLEASE DO NOT USE ON HUMAN HAIR WEAVE!! I tried it on one of my clients and wanted to cry. It messed the weave up. I will definitely continue to buy.
