Product Description

When hosting the next soirée at your geek bachelor pad you'll need the proper equipment to ensure success. All three major gaming consoles, a flat screen over 40" wide, a well trained dungeon master, a complete Star Wars action figure collection, and a fully stocked liquor cabinet are a must. But how about ice? You were planning to use that standard vaguely cubical stuff?... or worse the boring half-moon shape your fridge churns out? Well fear not intrepid nerdy party planner! ThinkGeek is here with the geekiest ice you'll ever find... Pi ice! Yep these stylish silicone ice trays cast frozen H2O into the symbol for your favorite irrational number. The chicks will swoon when you hand them a drink filled with Pi ice, and Archimedes will give you a big thumbs up for your tasty Pi Jello shots.

This tray is awesome. The shipping was a little absurd for something so small and lightweight, but it also arrived ahead of schedule, so I guess I can't complain, because it's made every day since a delight.

Every time I drop a pi cube into a drink, my day brightens a little bit. I've actually started pulling it out for drinks that are already refrigerated, just so I can see the little pi shape bobbing there as I sip my soda.

When I first got the tray, I had some difficulty removing the ice. I was actually worried about some quick wear and tear, as I had to be rather forceful, and some of the edges wrenched at the tray. However, if you rinse the back of the tray with some warm water for a good ten seconds, you melt the edges of the ice forms just enough for them to slide right out, hassle free. I don't mind the extra time it takes, either, since I know I'm getting awesome pi cubes!

These ice cube trays are great. I have no complaints. Yes you have to hold it flat when carrying them to the freezer. First world problems.

Quite possibly the best ice cube tray for your favorite geek. We produced a mass quantity of cubes from this mold. The mold is expertly engineered and nary a single "cube" cracked when being removed from the mold. If you're a geek or need a gift for your favorite geek - GET THIS TRAY! Really!

Was great for the actuarial Pi-Day party. The Pi-neapple soda I served them with was not a big success though.

I really liked the ice cube tray. My daughter used the tray to make chocolates for her 7th and 8th grade math class. Only problem on good side symbol was backwards.

The kids loved them anyway. Do you have any pi lollipop molds?

I was worried these silicone ice cube tray's would break when frozen. To my surprise they do not break and the PI shapes stay intact. IF you fill the PI slots completely with water it will be harder to remove the PI cubes from the tray but that is in the product description, so the product is as described.

Gave as a gift to a math teacher for 'Pi' Day (3-14). Works well, be careful pulling ice out of tray.
