I've only recently discovered the music of Bola de Nieve but realized as soon as I heard him that I was in the presence of greatness. I don't understand a word of Spanish but the ballads like 'Belen' and "El Botellero' on this disc are among the most poignant, and evocative things I've ever heard, period. If you are a fan of the authentic, listen to Bola. I already want to buy everything he's done.
