Format:Paperback
For Whom?:

Intermediate

Strengths:

same; although most Bober pieces are not great, they are accessible;

Weaknesses:

bad arrangement of in the Hall of the Mountain King, but at least the arranger is always noted; Bober's selections don't stand out as being great

Pedagogical Value:

Bober introduces different Jazz idioms and styles

Highlights:

"some familiar: Beethoven Ecossaise in GM; Ballade by Burgmuller; famous Minuet in G attributed correctly, with great tips
Gypsy Rondo (duet) - yes - fun"
