5.0 out of 5 stars You can't go wrong with this excellent coupling of two of Mozart's best concertos, November 10, 2005
This review is from: Piano Concerti 20 & 23 (Audio CD)
Uchida has been one of my favorite pianists since I aquired most of her Mozart Sonatas discs one by one. From what I've heard of her individual discs with Jeffrey Tate (I only own this one of concertos 20 and 23), she is very commanding, and plays exquisitely with the English Chamber Orchestra. The sound quality isn't top drawer, but is pleasing nonetheless. This is a very good coupling. Both of these are in my top five (the 23rd is my favorite, while the 20th is tied for number two with the 22nd) of Mozarts 27 piano concertos. I think now that they have took away number 20, and added concerto number 22 to be the coupling with Piano concerto 23. Either coupling is excellent. Jeffrey Tate and the ECO do a great job accompanying Uchida also. This sells used on Amazon for only about $4.90, so grab it while you can.

P.S. Now this cd is being sold for about $10.50 used on Amazon.
