"~Gina Bachauer was one of those great aritists who could be recognized without looking at the record label. I can't think of any pianist that had such fantastic low tones by leaning into the keyboard and not plunking from the elbow. She was an original and there will never be another like her. room, Wilma Cozart outdid herself, and her knowledge of the music glows in a wonderful production.

This is Gina Bachauer at her peak! A wonderful and thoughtful performance. Her scales glitter like delicate pearls, specially in the 4th Concerto, while in the 5th she captures the drama of the music without being cerebral.

Note pour universal : au lieu de rééditer les CD du sempiternel Pavarotti, rééditez d'urgence les disques de Gina Bachauer ainsi que le reste des CD de Mercury Living Presence qui menacent de disparaitre faute de réédition. Merci d'en prendre note et de faire le necessaire. Ces disques ne doivent plus quitter le catalogue, sous aucun prétexte.
