Surely the F major concerto celebrates the absolute joy of music. This work alone is a hit on our concert radio listeners request sessions. They love it and it has been requested a stagering 5 times - this is more than any other work in the past year. Its greatest quality is the exemplication of the free spirit in us all. Lahusen captures this quality brilliantly - you can also feel the spirit flowing through the work as freely as wind blowing through your hair. This work alone could make Hummel great again and deserves to be listed as one of the great works of the late classical era.
