Piano Lessons is a provocative collection of essays examining the critically acclaimed film. An assembly of international academics, drawn from film and cultural studies disciplines, offers a unique examination of the film through diverse approaches–auteurist, feminist, psychoanalytic, post-colonial, melodrama and romance.
