Excellent!, March 27, 2002

This album is of a solo piano performance of a wide range of great pieces by Glass. They're all very good, but the best pieces are peppy schertzo "Modern Love Waltz" and the almost anthem-like and very emotive "Wichita Vortex Sutra". You can't easily get those tracks elsewhere, so Glass fans should definitely get this CD! They're wonderful interpretations of great compositions.
(Well, you can also get "Wichita Vortex Sutra" on the /Hydrogen Jukebox/ album, but no offense to Ginsberg, but I prefer it on this CD, /without/ Ginsberg intoooning over it.)
