Awesome Piano Jazz! Amazing Trio,

I got this CD from a friend, and had never before heard of Junko Onishi. If you like real jazz, you must own this CD. This ain't no Kenny-G synthetic jazz wannabe. This is real jazz played with skill and joy, by people that know what jazz is all about. This trio jams! It is classic jazz played with contermporary understanding, or is it the other way around? In any case, there are samples of this music at Amazon. Try it, you will like it (Unless you really like dull, uninspired elevator music jazz, in which case you should check out Kenny G or John Tesh)

If piano Quintet suite is anything like Cruisin I am buying it. Out of 150 jazz CD,s "Cruisin" is one of my favorites. I often wondered what happened to Onishi. It's like she was dropped off the planet. Her music is fantastic. I'm glad to see she has made another CD.
