The title of this album is not just one of those catchy indie rock titles. This is actually an album of wonderful, haunting and sometimes terribly sad piano compositions. Anyone who loves piano music cannot afford to miss this record

I heard Dustin open for k.d. lang last night, and I was blown away. As big a fan of k.d. as I have been since her early days, and as absolutely amazing as her performance was, I can't believe I'm going to say that I almost enjoyed Dustin's performance more. His melodies and his performance of them are exquisite. I was lost in my own little world of rich imagery and memories as I was swept away by his music. I was deeply moved. Music rarely makes me cry, but this music did! If you like solo piano, particularly classical piano, you will love this.

This album is fantastically beautiful and can melt away any amount of stress just unbelievably good.

Amazing cd, one of my all time favorites. I can never stop listening to it.

I was lucky enough to have Pandora choke up one of his songs for me and introduce me to Dustin. I loose my breath on "Opus 22" and can listen to this album for hours while sketching away. Pure beauty.....(sigh).

I heard a cut from this CD on my local "Classical and More" station and had to get the CD. I was not disappointed. His classical compositions are beautiful. I have my Bose alarm clock set to play this softly to wake me up, and it's a grand way to greet the day. Highly recommend.

Dustin O'Halloram: Piano Sonatas Vol. 2 is an album of classical piano compositions that Mr. O'Halloram has crafted and sprinkled with STARDUST - beginning to end. This is music to comfort and sooth the heart and soul. Music to listen to or use as background. This is music that does not insist on being the center of attention, like for example, Glen Gould's Goldberg Variations. This is music that lets you come to it. It does though, cast a spell that is irresistible. It has a spare, quiet beauty and depth that is, in a word: exquisite. Tempos are slow; the music beautifully recorded. I sampled and purchased this cd on Amazon. If you care anything for gorgeous, classical, minimalist piano music, please do yourself a favor and check this one out. I think you'll be happy you did. Most highly recommended.

Had hoped this would be poignant like the pieces he did for Marie Antoinette. Instead it is depressing and heavy. Music to commit suicide by.
