5.0 out of 5 stars whoa there, this is not half bad!!
Though i'm not that big a fan of piano music, i like it occasionally. So when i saw the tribute album to tool, one of my fav bands (along with APC), i decided to check this out.

Well as the saying goes "Man am i glad i did!". This is actually very good stuff right here! Very moody, more so than i thought was possible with just a piano. Dare i say, it would...

1.0 out of 5 stars Cashing in on Tool's success
I thought this CD would be cool when I bought it, and I still think the idea of it is. But the performances are not polished at all. It seems pretty unprofessionally produced. I think it's just someone looking to make money off of Tool's success. Save your money and buy an easy listening cd from an easy listening artist if you're looking for something like that.

Well as the saying goes "Man am i glad i did!". This is actually very good stuff right here! Very moody, more so than i thought was possible with just a piano. Dare i say, it would almost be ruined by adding vocals to it.

I don't know what the other reviewer's issue is with this, cashing in their success? It's a tribute album. They re-do songs, not to make money, but to pay homage.

Anyway, I would recommend this to anyone who loves the melodious nature of Tool as this is an awesome re-enactment of the emotion of some terrific Tool music. (If nothing else, check out sober.. WOW, talk about powerful!)

If you are a TOOL fan, this album is for you. Its absolutely incredible to hear such an amazing band be portrayed through a piano. Close your eyes and let this album take you to a different level of consciousness... absolutely amazing!!

4.0 out of 5 stars This is quite good., January 31, 2007

Ignore the one star review below. While the production value isn't top notch, the performances and the interpretations are. It's very cool to hear Tool music performed on solo piano. It brings a whole new dimension to the songs. My advice? Check it out!
