This is one of Schubert's most insightful and beautiful works. It is more than the simple sum of its parts. The Borodin Trio nourishs the work naturally and intuitively. The production quality and mix down however, is not faultless but this will not detract on the average stereo system. Listen quietly, be calm and use reflection.
