Arensky's trio #1 has to be one of the most lovely pieces ever written! The second movement in particular is extremely beautiful and very difficult to play well. The Borodin Trio does a superb job. I bought this CD after listening to the second movement played on all the CDs in Amazon and the Borodin Trio are the only ones who play it really well. The second trio isn't as good as the first, but the first definitely makes it worth buying this CD.
