Nice tournament book,

This book is merely a copy of the descriptive notation book originally by Dover with the addition of a rather long introductory chapter about the life of Mrs. Piatigorsky (she organized/paid for the tournament) and a chapter at the end of the book with all the games in algebraic notation without annotations.The main body of the book in descriptive notation has games usually with analysis by both players. With all of the players being quite strong (Petrosian, Spassky, Fischer, Larsen etc) this is quite interesting. |
