First, I'm a thirtysomething african american mom who has chemically treated (relaxed/dyed) hair...I wanted the convenience of using a powerful hair blow dryer to help me save time when washing/drying my hair.

Reason purchased: I could've went and bought any blow dryer on the market, but I wanted one that was strong enough to dry even the coarsest hair. I also wanted one with the ionic/ceramic technology so that it wouldn't damage my hair and make it look dry. And I'm glad that I found it!

Time: This dryer puts out incredible speed, and heat..so it's truly saved me time drying my hair...and in the process it's made it shiny and lustrous.

Hair condition: It's truly made my hair shiny and lustrous. I have relaxed hair - I use oil and setting lotion when drying my hair, and unlike other cheap hair dryers, it kept the oil and moisture infused in every single strand. It doesn't feel dry at all, which is amazing considering how hot it gets. I believe this is due to the ionic and ceramic properties of the dryer.

Speed: Has two speeds...the lowest speed is fine for my needs, but the fast speed is even faster! I love the speed. I had other items sitting on the countertop in my bathroom, and it blew them on the floor...it doesn't play around.

Heat: It two heat settings and cold: I use the hottest setting. It gets my relaxed hair/new growth bone straight. It doesn't need time to warm-up...it gets straight to the point and heats up within 2-3 seconds.

Price: Right now, this is the only item on Amazon.com of its kind (with ionic and ceramic feature). But I did a lot of research on the internet, and it was priced much higher on other sites so I chose to purchase on Amazon.com

Weight: This dryer is extremely light...even given how powerful it is. I must say that I didn't expect it to be that light. On comparison, my arms hurt more roller setting my hair, than it did blow drying section by section.

Design: When blow drying it is incredibly easy to manuever and extremely lightweight. It is very stylish...I can't wait to show it off to family and friends.

Cons: I can't think of any.

Overall: My arms didn't hurt while drying each section (big plus), my hair is shiny, and straight, and I felt good about the whole thing because it's an ionic/ceramic dryer that isn't too damaging to my hair...so I give this dryer a A++++++ all the way! This is my best purchase this year!

I tried this hair dryer and it works well. My hair stylist who does the most amazing blow drying and flat ironing, uses this, only hers is couple hundred watts less power; an older much used model! It is easy to handle and the two nozzles are great. The first time I tried it, I burnt my neck and fingers but only because I was not good at blow drying... I did a tutorial with my stylist and now, when I put morroccon oil in my hair as she does, and blow dry it, using a metallic brush, my hair comes out almost as good as what she does!!! It is amazing. Anyone looking to get a hair dryer or do salon quality hair at home, try this. It's all about technique and good equipment, this dryer will get you half way there. If you know how to blow dry already, you'll have smooth shining hair whenever you want it! Good luck!
