This posterbook contains six (12"x17") quailty posters at a bargain price. The images in this series were created by Picasso in the years 1937 through 1962. There is an interesting description about each work in English, German, and French. A brief, yet informative, chronology of Picasso's life is included also. I would have liked to have been able to see the posters on-line before I purchased them, or at least had a list of the contents.

The posters included are: Portrait of Dora Maar, 1937; Maya with Doll, 1938; Cat Catching Bird, 1939; Bust of a Woman Wearing a Striped Hat, 1939; Child playing with a Toy Truck, 1953; and Bust of a Woman with Hat, 1962.

I teach visual art to elementary children and use these posters to enhance the students' art experience. The students enjoy viewing and discussing Picasso's portraits the most, especially Bust of a Woman Wearing a Striped Hat.
