This review is from: Picasso, I Want My Face Back (Paperback)
Picasso's work meant more than being just weird. "Picasso, I Want My Face Back" is a collection of poetry from Grace Nichols as she speaks through the voice of Dora Maar, Pablo Picasso's lover and inspiration. The intriguing angle to Picasso makes for unique poems well worth reading, making "Picasso, I Want My Face Back" a top poetry pick. "Seven Sisters": Seven sisters standing/shoulder to chalky shoulder --/Seven sisters huddling to Sussex mist/open-armed to sun's expansive kiss/yet straight and firm as Victorian maidens/all kin to Dover - the green-shawled/grandmother of all cliffs.
