About the Author

Carolyn Gibson, CPM is president of Synergy Professional Services in Boston, Massachusetts. She is a veteran property manager and consultant in the management, marketing, staff training, and leasing of residential, nonprofit, and government-assisted properties. Ms. Gibson holds the Certified Property Manager designation from the Chicago based Institute of Real Estate Management, and is a member of their national faculty. She has been published in the Journal of Property Management (JPM), and the New England Real Estate Journal, and featured in The Boston Globe and Boston Herald newspapers. Carolyn is a graduate of Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts.

I am a Boston, Massachusetts based real estate property management consultant. I owned a property management firm for over eight years. I managed residential properties including conventional, rooming houses, government assisted, public housing, low income tax credits, condominiums, etc. I have been featured on talk radio, Internet radio such as www.WomensRadio.com, and in publications including the Boston Globe, Boston Herald, the New England Real Estate Journal, and the Journal of Property Management.

I am a published author, speaker, expert witness, educator and trainer; I teach marketing and leasing seminars. I write articles and lecture on rent collection strategies and eviction prevention techniques.
