5.0 out of 5 stars best Christian book on divorce, July 31, 1998

This review is from: Picking Up the Pieces (Mass Market Paperback)
This is the best book on divorce for Christians I have read. I am a minister who teaches divorce and grief recovery classes in my church. I recommend this book to anyone trying to get his or her life back together following a breakup. The author, Clyde Besson, is a divorced former pastor who has been there and knows what it's like. When I went through my divorce nine years ago, a friend shared this book with me, and the ideas in it helped me so much.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent for newly divorced or separated advice, August 11, 2003

I first heard the author in a weekend divorce seminar on which the book is based. I liked the book so much I used to keep a case of them to give away to people I met who were going through recent divorce or separation. EVERYONE that I know of who has read it has found something in it that they felt was written JUST for them it hits so close to home. Christian based, but doesn't beat you over the head with the Bible. Practical advice that covers almost everything that you will go through in the divorce process (no legal advice though).
