i really loved this book. it was full of suspense but if you have a weak stomach i would not suggest it. theres an awesome plot and when the mystery unfolds its a real shocker!

what a great book, read it with my 10 year old and my seven year old, girls, and they both loved it. well written, and would make a great movie. dont hesitate, dive in !!

This review by Nicholas Cendrowicz says it all: My daughter, who is 8, read about this book in a magazine. She didn't stop hassling me until I bought it for her. It's on her behalf that I'm writing this review. I mean I didn't read the book, but she did. She devoured it.
We were on holiday by the beach with a swimming pool, but no, my daughter wasn't interested in all that summer holiday stuff: she wanted to progress through this book. In the end, we grew tired of asking her to splash around in the sea or the pool and thought it best to let her get to the end of 'The Pickle King', because there was no way that we were going to get to put this book down.
Our girl reads books in the category above her age, and she really loved this book. If I ask her, she will say that it was fantastic. Indeed, when she finally finished it, she thanked me for having bought it for.
So this is my review as a parent. If you get this book for your kids, they will certainly enjoy it. But you may have problems if you want them to do anything else because they will not want to put it down. Be warned!
