Pickle Ornament, August 27, 2010

Bought this pickle ornament for our German foreign exchange student, because it is supposed to be an old German custom for Santa to hang it on the tree and on Christmas morning the "most observant child" will find the ornament and get an extra gift. We do this with our children; however, our German foreign exchange student never heard of the tradition!?!
