This is a seamless ball
Despite the previous review, this ball is a seamless ball. It is rotationally molded, meaning that liquid plastic is injected into a mold and the mold is spun around and around until the plastic is cooled. The mold is then opened and a complete ball is released. Holes are then drilled into the ball. A "parting line" is sanded off the ball - this is not a seam - it is...

It's an outdoor ball!
I thought that this would be a good thing: seamless pickle ball. However, it DOES have a seam...and it is an OUTDOOR pickle ball, not an indoor one. Bounce is different, compression is different, speed off the wood floor is very different. Be advised!

Despite the previous review, this ball is a seamless ball. It is rotationally molded, meaning that liquid plastic is injected into a mold and the mold is spun around and around until the plastic is cooled. The mold is then opened and a complete ball is released. Holes are then drilled into the ball. A "parting line" is sanded off the ball - this is not a seam - it is simply where the mold came together and a little residue of plastic remains that "looks" like a seam but is not.
This is a very durable ball.

I thought that this would be a good thing: seamless pickle ball. However, it DOES have a seam...and it is an OUTDOOR pickle ball, not an indoor one. Bounce is different, compression is different, speed off the wood floor is very different.
