More About the Author

LEGO is an interest I have followed for decades.

As a child in the 1960s, my cousin, my sister and I pooled our LEGO collections and built extensive villages (inhabited by gangs of orphans, for some strange reason!). Since 1999 I've been designing and building much larger town and city models. Some are and were one-offs, never to be repeated, but for others I carefully rebuilt the model in a LEGO CAD program and produced detailed instructions - a labor of love indeed when it comes to a 3000 piece car ferry nearly 30" long!

Unfortunately the instructions for the very large models simply won't fit even on a standard book page, and certainly not on a Kindle screen, so I've concentrated on reformatting some of the smaller ones for your Kindle delectation.
