This cooler collapses down to about 3" thick making it easy to pack in luggage. Much better to bring a cooler on vacation than to buy a styrofoam one every time you leave town. Construction and materials seem very durable. We have not had any problems with ours. In addition I have never noticed ours to leak through the bottom.
