This is a really fun game to play with kids if you have two Nintendo DSs. If not, there are quite a lot of pre-drawn images for you to try and figure out, drawings created by children as young as 3! Fun.

It is a fun game to play against family members. Some of the words are hard to think of how to draw but it makes it more of a challenge. Great game!

My daughter's friend brought it along on a roadtrip. She liked it so much she asked for it for Christmas. I have discovered that she is much more determined than I thought. I give up after awhile, but she persists in guessing the images. I'm constantly amazed at her ability to figure it out. She keeps an open mind and a broad perspective. She also really enjoys the art lessons and has been able to apply them in school work as well as home. I highly recommend the game!

I bought this game for my daugher and her cousin for christmas and they love it. It shows them the basics of drawing and also shows works of others in all age groups. They draw for hours on it. It's a very kid friendly game and i would recommend for anyone with a smal child that likes to draw..

My 11 year old daughter just received this game as a gift and she loves it. It is especially fun on multiplayer. I played with her on the car trip home yesterday and we had a blast! It would be challenging for someone much younger than 10 since it requires you to be able to quickly draw and write (with correct spelling!). Overall, this looks like she will enjoy it for a long time.

I bought this game for my neice. I found it for a 10 spot at a local store last year and figured it was worth the gamble. It turned out to be my neice's favorite game. She was 12 at the time. She recently lost the game while she was on a road trip and it is near the top of her Christmas list this year. She really wants a replacement. There are about a half dozen of us in the family (12 to adult) that have a DS and we love to play the game as a group. Everyone can play using just the one cartridge. It's like pictionary, but you can turn on features that make life a little more challenging. One option makes the screen go dark so the person has to draw without being able to see what they are doing. Another makes it so you can't pick up your stylus while you are drawing. There are about eight of these options. You can turn on all of them or you can just select the ones you would like turned on. It will pick one at random on each turn. In multiplayer mode, the game is kind of a free for all. One person draws and everyone else tries to guess what it is. The first one to type in the correct answer gets points. The person drawing also gets points if someone guesses the drawing. When multiple people know the answer, it becomes a game of speed - who can type the fastest and the most accurately? The person with the most points at the end wins. It's great spelling practice as well since you always have to type the answer. Obviously, this means it's not a great game for non-readers/spellers. It has a single player mode as well. I haven't played it, but my neice enjoys it as well. You can either try to guess the drawings the DS displays or you can use the practice mode to practice drawing images from the games word bank.

Ever since buying Brain Challenge for my DS I have been looking for a drawing or painting game for my DS so I could save the pics I make because I can't save them on Brain Challenge.
I read some reviews on some other sites and read that PictoImage had a gallery area where you could save your pics. and this is true. HOWEVER,you only get black, red, yellow, green and two blue colors AND more annoying is you only get a certain amount of INK!! and that "ink" is also used up by any erasing you do! it is pathetic and annoying and really frustrating! so when you run out of ink, that's it. there is no more. it is then a part of the gallery and you can keep it or delete it. that's all. If anyone knows of a game that actually allows you to draw or paint with a stylus decently, I would love to know. please email staceyspaceydaze at y a h o o dot com. thanks. |
