About the Author
Dorothy Hammond is among America's foremost authorities on antiques and collectables. Her writing career has spanned over three decades, beginning in 1970. She wrote a weekly nationally syndicated column for Columbia Features, Inc. for fifteen years, before joining Hearst magazines in 1980, as a contributing editor to Colonial Homes Magazine, and later Classic American Homes. Her first pictorial price guide was published in 1977... and twenty-two editions followed.
