I bought the Pictorial Price Guide to American Antiques as a gift for my mother, who is a collector. I don't know much about antiques, but this book appears to be comprehensive. An reference book for antiques needs pictures to help the user identify the items, and this book has plenty of pictures. Mom seemed to like the book.
