Book Description

August 1, 2005 Conceptis Puzzles
See the complete picture...once you complete the maze. On the surface, these unique puzzles may look like other mazes you've done before. But at the end, there's a nice surprise when the lines that found the right pathway are the key to creating an image, too. To add to the fun, there are two different types of puzzles: basic and reversed. For either one, start out by solving as usual. Then, for the basic variation, just take a dark marker and color in the route you traced. For the reversed style, fill in all the wrong paths, instead. Each puzzle has a label from 1 to 7 for its level of difficulty, and the pictures include portraits, animals, and action scenes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun For All Maze Lovers!, July 11, 2008
This review is from: Picture This! Mazes (Conceptis Puzzles) (Paperback)
I confess, I am a maze addict. This was a new maze experience for me and I just loved it. I guess that's because it combines mazing and coloring, both activities I enjoy. First you solve the maze; then you color in the path to create a picture. The front cover of the book shows shading with different colors, which I haven't tried yet. There are also ones at the end that consist of reverse fill in: you solve the maze and then color every- thing except the maze path. Challenging, visual and fun. I also used one for a high school English writing assignment. The students had to solve the puzzle; then write a descriptive or narrative paragraph about the solution.

5.0 out of 5 stars What you get, might just surprise you! In fact it might even aMaze you!!, December 26, 2009
This review is from: Picture This! Mazes (Conceptis Puzzles) (Paperback)
This is a rather small book of only 76 Mazes, but it will give you hours of entertainment.
The mazes are different from the run-of the-mill type of maze where yuu start at one point and work your way to the exit. However;with these mazes, you are then only half finished. When you have completed the maze, then color in the path you traced with a dark, thick line of pen or marker to see a picture appear. Then starting with maze number 58,we get what are called reverse mazes. No,you don't do them in reverse. You complete the maze like you always do,but then you color in all the wrong paths to create a picture.Pictures include all kinds of figures, animals and objects;but the ones I found most interesting were the portraits of famous people, all Presidents of the United States,I think. Some are easy to inentify, like George Washington,George W. Bush,Ronald Reagan and John F.Kennedy;some of the others are a bit more challenging, though!

4.0 out of 5 stars Picture Mazes are Fun, September 30, 2008
By
southern charm (Jackson, MS, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Picture This! Mazes (Conceptis Puzzles) (Paperback)
I have had several of the Conceptis Picture Maze books. They are fun, little mazes. The answer is not completely obvious and does offer several possibilities for you to work your way through. With a little deductive reasoning, no erasing is required. For an advanced puzzler, they are not very challenging but are an entertaining break from mindbending, logic and number puzzles.

If you are looking for a challenge, my favorite Conceptis picture puzzle book is Paint-Doku. I spent a year, off and on, working through the puzzles in that book, and ordered a second one when I finished it to do it again. It's my favorite puzzle book to date.
