This book is for regular, real people. I think it's perfect for folks who believe there's more to their intuition than just random chance. I learned there's more to those gut feelings I get than just a knot in my stomach. I'm physically and psychically tuning in to a situation. One of the hang ups I've always had with psychics is that they can never properly describe what they see, hear, or feel when they are getting a message. Tiffany Johnson gives the best explanation I've ever heard. I was able to relate, and because I could relate I could try some of her exercises and actually feel myself open up more than I ever have in the past. While I'm not sure I'm ever going to be giving readings for others, I do feel more open to those inner (and outer voices), and the exercises and DVD made understanding myself and the way of the psychic a lot easier. Kudos on a great tour of the psychic world and a fantastic starting point for beginners.

This book is great if you are looking for information in many areas of the psychic realm. It covered past lives, tarot reading, spirit guides, rock energies, animal totems, and more, as well as exercises to develop psychic abilites. It answered so many questions that I had and offered insight into areas that I had never been able to find info on. The book was easy to read and understand. I loved it and my teenage boys have taken it and are reading it themselves. It's rare to watch them fight over a book.

I have to agree with the 2nd reviewer. I think that Tiffany is very knowledgeable and is trying to share her own experiences in the hopes that those of us who have had those unexplainable thoughts or happenings will gain insight, understanding and acceptance. She explains her own journey and if we choose to develop those extrasensory abilities that's fine, if this only answers questions that we have, that's fine. I don't think that this was meant to be a stuffy scientific textbook. It was meant to educate, empower and encourage each of us to find our own psychic path.
