The previous reviewer from 2008 talks about Sarah Brightman. Well, she might have a CD under the same title, but this CD is not hers. This one IS a classical, sacred music CD deserving a 5 star rating. Unfortunately, it is no longer available through Amazon, but there are a few available through the after market. You can listen to samples off this site.I found this specific CD when looking for Mors et Vita, Judex by Gounod. This CD includes not only Judex, but also a variety of excellent sacred music performed by major classical singers as well as orchestras and choirs. I suggest you or others looking here, actually listen to the samples.

As a classical singer, I'm depressed to see Sarah Brightman listed in Classical Vocal at all. The world is full of excellent, clear-voiced sopranos; Sarah Brightman, like Andreas B, is a POP music singer. Broadway is a different industry with different priorities, and kudos to her for her excellent work there... but this is *not* classical music.
