For Knights Templar fans and historians, this is a great book. Balanced with the updated material being published now by current efforts and this book's information will give you a well based understanding of the greatest of Military Orders.

Having read this entire book (the one I now have listed here to $22), I was so extremely delighted at the elevated prose Edith Simon achieved here. It's a wonderful accomplishment. Few writers display the sophistication of sentence construction, the richness of vocabulary, and the knowledge of the subject she does. Anyone interested in the Knights Templars would love this book; it would certainly enhance appreciation and understanding to read it. Now I'm searching for other books by Edith Simon to see if her prose is always so beautiful.
