This is one of those items that I must have,... I'm not a computer geek but it works for me exactly for what I was need it for.

Bought these to replace my Macbook screen. They worked fine on all the easy-to-loosen screws, but as soon as I got to a stubborn one, I snapped every single screwdriver tip in here trying to loosen it. Lest you want to be stuck in the mid-repair with screws and parts spread across your table and no way to put them back together, I'd invest a little more money in a better set.

This was purchased as a gift so I cannot attest to the functionality of the product but I have to say that I was disappointed in the packaging. It would have been nice to have had some sort of case or way to store the tools other than the tiny plastic bag they were shipped in.

A complete set, new as p[romised, deliverd before the indicated date, so everybody happy! Ans certainly not expensive. If you need it, buy it here.

got this for my new macbook pro; to open the back, replace ram and the hard drive.
there is NO torx screwdriver in the kit small enough to let me remove the original HD screws!!
so...useless. can't do ANYTHING tonite, will have to go to a radio shack tomorrow.

WASTE OF MONEY.

The tools all work great and are very easy to use in the assistance of taking apart a MacBook. Definitely the right tools for taking apart MacBooks and repairing them or adding ram or a new HDD. The price is rather reasonable, I didn't feel like it was a bad deal at all.

If you're looking to replace the ram/HDD or repair your MacBook or (maybe) any other laptop, then these are the tools are for you.
(I'm sure you can buy a small screwdriver for cheaper, but it's still nice to have a whole set of tools you may need.)

If you're looking to replace a hard drive you may definitely need a torx wrench if your new hard drive doesn't come with that metal covering on your original.

They are too small and will hurt your fingers. I bought it thinking I would be saving some money. Half way through taking out my iMacs old hard drive I ended up giving up on these tools and bought some decent tools at my local hardware stor. Man, what a difference. It so cheap that I wouldn't say don't waste your money, but I would say don't waste your precious time with this. A simple 10 minute job could take your hours with this!
