Editorial Reviews

It is often said of world-famous architect Renzo Piano that he never developed a recognizable style, but Piano's style is to grapple with the sites of his buildings, teasing from them uniquely aesthetic and technical solutions to every challenge. His buildings are meticulous, individual visions that serve the needs of the physical and human environments around them. This film allows Piano a platform to discuss his architecture and present the works that are as disparate as they are original.

Piano gives good comments on his work and design principles. Quality of picture on the screen not great.
A little dated now given the the large range of projects completed since this was made.
Volume 2 well overdue.
