This book is helpful if you want some new ideas for cakes. It has NO recipes for plain chocolate cake, but for black cherry and chocolate cake, which I find wierd because every book on cake should have one basic chocolate cake recipe. It has recipes for double chunk chocolate brownies, different kinds of bars, blueberry and white chocolate chip muffins, chocolate chip muffins, cinnamon-swirl tea bread, fruit gingerbread, lemon poppy seed cake & banana toffee cheesecake. It has a few recipes for pound cake and for angel food cake. It has many creative recipes, however who among us has been searching for any of the above recipes?
